Consider request for Board support of the acquisition of Robert Forrest property to the State of Vermont Wetlands Protection and Restoration Program
T. Carrara commented on the above request and expressed his concerns about flooding that could occur on other farmer’s fields and mosquito control problems that could arise if the Forrest property went from prime agricultural land to wetlands.
Discussion was held about the proposal of the Vermont Wetlands Protection and Restoration Program purchasing the Robert Forrest property and changing the property from prime agricultural to wetlands. The Board will request further information and clarification regarding the Forrest acreage going into that program.
Consider the process for Town Manager position replacement
