Youth Basketball sign-ups are November 1-25, 2016. Kids in grades 1-6 u8 – u12 can sign up to play.

PITTSFORD YOUTH BASKETBALL

           GRADES 1^st & 2^nd PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED!!! 

Youth Basketball sign-up are November 1-25. Boys and girls in grades 1^st – 2^nd are welcome to register. The season begins Saturday, January 7, 2017 and will run on Saturday mornings through February 11. The fee for this Recreation Department program is $30. Please fill a registration form on the back of this flyer and return to the Recreation Department. Deadline to register for 1^st & 2^nd grade basketball is Friday, 11/25, 2016. After 11/25 the fee will be $50.

NO registrations will be accepted on the first day of the program!!! Max. of 24 players per group.

U10 GRADES 3^rd & 4^th

The Recreation Department is planning to offer a combined u10 3^rd & 4^th grade programs this winter. Each level will have a boys team & a girls team (*if numbers allow). Each team will have their own coaches, practices, and/or games. 3^rd & 4^th graders will begin practices the week of 11/28/16.

Practices and games will take place during December – March.

Please fill out a registration form and return it to the Pittsford Recreation Department by Friday, 11/25. The fee for this Recreation Department program is $30. After 11/25 the fee will be $50.

5^TH & 6^TH GRADE BASKETBALL

This is a school-sponsored program where girls and boys will continue to learn how to play in game situations. Players will develop appropriate sportsmanship behavior. Learning the fundamentals of basketball from dribbling to passing and shooting will be highly stressed. Teams will practice or play games 2-3 times a week, TBA. Each team will play a 10 – 12 game schedule. Actual practices will begin in early December. A pre-season players/parents meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, 12/1/16 at 6 pm in the Lothrop Cafeteria .
