PITTSFORD RECREATION DEPARTMENT

Does your child have cabin fever this winter? Would you like to give your child something productive to do during the February Winter Vacation? Have your child join the Pittsford Recreation Department for a very cool field trip. The first part of the day the group will enjoy indoor climbing w/Steve & his staff at the Green Mountain Rock Climbing Center in Rutland. There they will learn the proper techniques it takes to be a safe and reliable climber. After morning of invigorating exercise, our group will go to VAC (Vermont Achievement Center) to indulge in an afternoon of swimming. Under the watchful eye of Ann Hunt our participants will enjoy open swim time in the heated Mitchell Therapy Pool!

BUS DEPARTURE TIME: Lothrop School – 9:30 am

ROCK CLIMBING:   10:00 am – 12:00 pm

Eat bag lunch at G.M.R.C.C. 12:00 – 12:30 pm

SWIMMING @ VAC          1:00 – 3:00 pm

BUS RETURN TIME:  Lothrop School – 3:30 pm

COST:   $26.00 per child

MINIMUM: 20 Students MAXIMUM: 35 Students

GRADES:      1^st – 6^th

WHAT TO BRING: Comfortable climbing clothing, bag lunch and snacks, water bottle, bathing suit, & towel. *All other equipment will be supplied.
