Free Summer Music Series

During the summer 2012 Pittsford Day was transformed into the Pittsford Summer Music Series. Instead of one, long, weather dependent day, we held 3 evening concerts at the Recreation Area. The bands set up under the pavilion that proves to be unique sound amplifier. People from all over the map visited us to attend these shows. They sat on the picnic tables, in their own chair and on blankets on the grass. Great location, super music, and picture perfect weather at each night boosted visitor numbers for sure! It was so much fun the Recreation Department would like to inform you that this popular programming is returning for 2013! All these shows are free of charge.

On Friday, June 14, 2013-Pittsford Ice Social Night. Steve Spensley and friends will play 6:00 – 8:00 pm while you enjoy free ice cream sponsored by your friends at the Maclure Library and the Pittsford Recreation Department.

On Wednesday, July 17, 2013 the Aaron Audet Band scheduled for 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Sponsored by Omya. Last year these guys where a huge hit and are back by popular demand.

On Sunday, August 11, 2013 Woodchucks’ Revenge 6:00 – 8:00 pm. A local music group that has played all over the world. Sponsors are needed for this event.

ALL this shows are free of charge. Donated “Pittsford Summer Concert Series” t-shirts have been on sale to help offset the cost to get these acts to the Recreation Area.
