The Town has a Zoning Enforcement Officer, Jeff Biasuzzi, who works part-time to assure compliance with the zoning ordinance and other land use ordinances. He reviews permit applications as well and works with the Planning Commission and Zoning Board of Adjustment, which considers appeals of his rulings. Pittsford Zoning Board of Adjustment VACANCY
Interested in land use issues? The Town’s five-member Zoning Board of Adjustment (ZBA) has a vacancy. Meetings are relatively infrequent—generally a handful of meetings per year. Help your neighbors and colleagues address commercial use applications and resolve zoning-related disputes. Requirements include an ability to apply current rules with common sense and impartiality. Town-funded training opportunities exist. This is an unpaid volunteer position, and compensation comes in the form of assisting your community and keeping Pittsford a great place to live.
