Below are necessary documents you will need to fill out including A Covid 19 Waiver, a Covid 19 Protocol Agreement, and the Registration Form.

All documents must be signed by parents/guardians and handed into Town Office with Payment.

We are bringing Esports to Pittsford!
Esports is an up-and-coming way to compete while playing video games. We have partnered with GG Leagues to create an Esports Vermont League.
What’s GG Leagues and Esports?
GGLeagues is a platform for both new and experienced gamers to compete across various game titles. They provide local communities a turnkey solution to easily launch esports to engage and reach their audiences.

Summer Day Camp Director Needed!

The Pittsford Recreation Dept. is looking for a Day Camp Director with a tentative plan to hold summer camp in 2021. We are optimistic for the future and are planning to have day camp for six weeks starting June 28th – August 6th, 2021. This position will follow and help enforce CDC and State guidelines on Covid-19 during camp operations. The position requires preplanning of all weekly themes. Applicants must be available to work Monday-Friday 7:30 am – 5:00 pm. Candidates will work with ages 6-13 and be willing to work outdoors. The position requires CPR and Standard First Aid certifications.

Pittsford Rec’s Cleats For Free: Does your child need cleats? We have many different sizes of kid’s cleats available for FREE. Over the years families have donated their kids used pairs of cleats that they outgrew for other local kids to have and enjoy. Disc Golf in Pittsford! Thanks to all that came out and participated in our 10th annual Disc Golf Tournament, we had over 50 people playing and supporting Pittsford Disc Golf.

Pittsford Recreation Area Location: The Recreation Area is located at 223 Recreation Area Road. The Recreation Area gate is open year-round 10:00am – 8:00pm or dark (whichever is earlier). Phone: 483-6688

Pittsford Recreation Area Services: The Recreation Area features a full-size basketball court, two tennis courts, two baseball fields, a softball field, open space, 28’x60′ picnic pavilion, picnic tables, playground equipment, swim area, restrooms, sand volleyball court, and walking/hiking trails.

Pittsford Recreation Area Fees: There is no fee for general use of the facility outside of the swimming area and tennis courts. Group reservations and the picnic pavilion can be reserved for a fee, call the Recreation Director for details.

Accessibility: Reasonable accommodations will be provided upon request to ensure that programs are accessible to all individuals regardless of the challenge.

Office Location: The Recreation Department office is located in the Pittsford Municipal Offices building at 426 Plains Road. Mailing address is PO Box 10, Pittsford, VT 05763. The Municipal Offices are open Monday-Wednesday 8:00-4:30 pm; Thursday 8:00-6:00; Friday 8:00-3:00. The Recreation Director’s hours do vary, please call ahead. Phone: 483-6500 ext. 17; E-mail:

Program Fees: Fees for programs go toward the Recreation Department programs. In some cases, the fees are used to compensate the instructor’s time and experience. Fees are also used to buy new equipment, maintain fields and facilities.

Registration: Registrations are accepted for all programs through the mail or in person at the Municipal Offices. Registrations are NOT accepted over the telephone. Complete payment must accompany registration if applicable for the program. Registrations are accepted on a first come-first serve basis. Some programs are limited in size, so early registration is encouraged. Residents are those who LIVE in Pittsford or Florence. Visiting relatives such as grandchildren do not qualify as residents.

Insurance/Liability: The Recreation Department does not provide accident or hospitalization insurance for participants of its programs. All participants are advised to have adequate personal coverage. Please consider your own health and that of your child’s experience, and tolerance for risk before participating in any program. If you have any questions concerning potential risks, call the Recreation Department.

Refund Policy: Refunds will be granted only in the following cases:

  • A program is canceled by the Recreation Department.
  • If you withdraw in WRITING before a program begins. An administrative fee of at least $5.00, but no more than 15% of the program.

The Pittsford Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel any program if enrollment is insufficient and does not meet the required minimum. In such cases, refunds will be made in full.Note: Class cancellations due to inclement weather will not be made up unless otherwise stated.
