Mark Pape provided the members a draft document to submit to Representatives Butch Shaw and Brian Collomore for the Board’s review. The Board was in agreement and Mr. Pape will forward to the Representatives.
Derek Blow asked if there is an update on the solar project. Jeff Biasuzzi reported the project was initially off but it now appears that the project is moving forward. It was noted that solar leases provide the option for developers to change the schedule. Chuck Charbonneau noted that due to the costs the developer had decided to postpone. Mike Norris advised the developer has the option to make the decision to not more forward. Donna Wilson reported there has not been any discussion at the regional level on this project. Mr. Biasuzzi stated there are still plans to develop at some time and they have checked on the E911 address. Mr. Norris advised as of August 18th, the Biden Inflation Reduction Act passed and will foster more projects of this kind as there will be more incentives.
