Pickleball is a fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping pong. Played both indoors and outdoors on a badminton size court and a slightly modified tennis net. It is played with a paddle and plastic ball.

A small group from Pittsford began playing during the summer of 2015 on a tennis court in Rutland. Through the 2016 winter in the Lothrop Gym and this past summer at the Pittsford Tennis Courts.
