The Town of Pittsford is seeking proposals from licensed food service people interested in operating the snack bar at Pittsford’s Recreation Area during the busy summer months and at occasional special events involving large crowds. The Pittsford Recreation Area is beautifully maintained and hosts a bustling summer day camp and numerous sports tournaments and other well-attended events. The “Rec” contains multiple baseball and soccer fields, basketball courts, tennis courts, a swimming area, an 18-hole disc golf course and a streamside picnic pavilion, all of which attract many people who wish they had the option to purchase and enjoy food, snacks, treats and beverages while they enjoy all the amenities of “The Rec.” The Town would like to develop a long-term mutually-beneficial relationship with the right vendor.
