TOWN OF PITTSFORD, VERMONT
ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
Reference: Application by Omya, Inc. for conditional use approval to permit grading of earthen material on property known as Hogback Quarry at Fire Hill Road in Florence, Vermont, Parcel ID#0992. Said parcel is located in the Industrial Zoning District. Portion of said of said parcel, specifically in the area proposed for project, is within the hfloodplain of Smith Brook, locally so called.
Reason for Request: Article V.C.3 of the Flood Hazard Area Regulations for the Town of Pittsford requires that grading in a floodplain receive conditional use approval from the Zoning Board of Adjustment.
The Zoning Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing on the above scheduled matter and other matters as may regularly come before the Board on July 22, 2013 at 7:00pm in the Municipal Office Conference Room, 426 Plains Road, Pittsford, Vermont. The application,with accompanying documents, are available for public review at the Municipal Offices, Monday, 8am to 1pm, and Thursday, 1pm to 6pm.
