TOWN OF PITTSFORD, VERMONT
Reference: Review of Amendments to the Pittsford Town Plan, Draft Three dated August 24, 2012, addressing: the protection of Conservation areas and ridgelines from development to insure that there is no adverse impact on the Town of Pittsford; the support for small scale renewable energy alternatives and to discourage large scale industrial wind power development which the Plan explains; and other minor changes.
Pursuant to State law 24 VSA Chapter 117 Section 4384, the Planning Commission is charged with preparing a plan for the municipality and is authorized to amend said plan from time-to-time as the municipality sees fit. The Planning Commission must hold at least one public hearing within the municipality after public notice on any proposed amendment.
The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to receive comments on the above scheduled matter and other matters as may regularly come before the Commission on Thursday October 4th 2012 at 7:00pm at the Municipal Office Conference Room, Plains Road, Pittsford, Vermont. The Town Plan, Draft Three, is available for public review at the Municipal Offices, Monday, 8:00am to 1:00pm, and Thursday, 1:00pm to 6:00pm.
