Meeting Agenda : Zoning Board of Adjustment





1.       Reference: Application for Variance by Pittsford Fire Department District #1 (applicant) and Robert D. White (property owner) to construct a water booster station closer to the side and front property lines than required by the Zoning Ordinance on property located at 2239 U.S. Route 7, Parcel ID #0596, in the Town of Pittsford, Vermont.


Purpose of Request: The applicant proposes to construct a water booster station, being 12 feet by 12 feet, 25 feet from the side property line, whereas the Zoning Ordinance requires a 50 foot setback, and 30 feet from the front property line, whereas the Zoning Ordinance requires a 50 foot setback,  Said water booster station is intended to serve Pittsford Fire District #1, the Proctor-Pittsford Country Club, and eight (8) homes on Corn Hill Road.


The Zoning Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing on the above scheduled matter and other matters as may regularly come before the Board on August 27, 2012, at 7:00pm in the Municipal Office Building, 426 Plains Road, Pittsford, Vermont.  The application, with accompanying documents, are available for public review at the Municipal Offices, Monday, 8:00am to 1:00pm, and Thursday, 1:00pm to 6:00pm.


Participation in the public hearing is a prerequisite to the right to take any subsequent appeal.
