Pittsford Water Board Meeting Thomas "Hank" Pelkey opened the meeting at 6:47PM. Water Board members present were: Thomas "Hank" Pelkey, Allen Hitchcock, Joseph Gagnon, David Markowski, and Thomas Hooker. Also present were Michael Balch, Linda Drummond, Kathleen Ramsay, Helen McKinlay, David Rowe, Tom Carrara, William Bowman, Kathy Brown, Tom Brown, Shawn Erickson, Sally Eugair, Don Nickless, and Lisa Connell.
MINUTES The minutes of June 6, 2007 were approved.
OLD BUSINESS Discussion was held in regards to the water and sewer departments budgeted number of hours a week which are normally 100 man hours including hours at Otter Valley Union High School (OVUHS) for which the Town is paid. The departments have been at 60 man hours a week for over 3 months. All three employees of the water and sewer department are licensed for both water and sewer. The depth of coverage for both the Town and OVUHS works well both financially and philosophically.
M. Balch will find out if the Town Well Head Protection Plan needs to be renewed for Pittsford and Florence this year.
D. Rowe asked how the engineering blue prints are coming along for the Route 7 South Project. M. Balch replied that the engineers are waiting on the Act 250 permit which is being held up due to the stormwater run off issue. Everything else is done except the permit for the stormwater run off.
