Pittsford Water Board Meeting
The Water Board was called to order at 7:23 PM by Allen Hitchcock, Vice Chairman Select board members present: Joseph Gagnon, Thomas Hooker, and David Markowski. Thomas "Hank" Pelkey was absent. Also present was Linda Drummond, Thatcher Moats, Tom Carrara, Robin Rowe, Kelly Giard – Recording Secretary, John Eugair,
Motion by J. Gagnon and seconded by D. Markowski to approve the minutes as stated from the April 18, 2007 meeting. Passed unanimously.
R. Rowe inquired as to the planning and funding for the water project to the southern water lines. D. Markowski explained that an engineering firm analysis must be presented with the amounts of money needed to complete the project. The project will run from the Route 3 bridge to the end of the Town water line and the estimate for that is about 5500 feet. Currently, the Route 7 upgrade and the Storm Water discharge permit are the major hold ups on this project. There must be a plan/design in place prior to applying for any funding - whether it be a Bond, Federal, State or Taxpayer supported funding.
D. Markowski stated that this is a time consuming procedure.
T. Carrara questioned whether there would be a Public Hearing on this project. Board members stated that there would be a Public Hearing.
With no further business, the Water Board adjourned at 7:34 PM.
