Town of Pittsford Sewer Board Meeting February 15, 2006 DRAFT
Thomas “Hank” Pelkey opened the meeting at 6:45 p.m. Sewer Board members present were: Thomas “Hank” Pelkey, Joseph Gagnon, Allen Hitchcock, and Dave Markowski. Also present were Michael Balch, & Linda Drummond.
MINUTES The Sewer Board minutes of February 1, 2006 were reviewed, discussed and approved. Regarding the letter of 2/7/06 from K. Horn in regards to the Proposed Pollution Abatement Facility Statute, the board asked M. Balch to respond by letter requesting they reject the proposed bill.
The northern end of the Elm Street sewer line has no manhole. A. Hitchcock and D. Markowski talked about fixing the pipes. H. Pelkey stated there were problems with the water line before. When replacing the lines, then hidden problems will be found identified such as water leakage. The camera work has been completed on the lines. J. Gagnon asked if the repairs can be done in house. The Board decided that due to the limited labor force in the sewer department, it would be better to have the project contracted out.
With no further business, the Sewer Board adjourned at 6:50 p.m.
