Meetings
The Select Board meets twice monthly, on the first and third Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Town Offices. It’s meetings are broadcast on PEG-TV and are available online.
The Pittsford/Florence Water & Sewer Commission meets monthly on the third Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Town Offices.
Like most Vermont towns, Pittsford holds its annual Town Meeting in the evening of the first Monday in March The meeting is held at 6:30 p.m. at the Lothrop School Gymnasium. The Town and School Board take turns as to which goes first with its presentation and voting.
The Select Board acts as the Town’s Liquor Board to process permits and applications for licensure, as needed, on the evenings of its regularly-scheduled Select Board meetings.

Planning Commission
Pittsford has a Planning Commission consisting of three volunteer members. The current membership consists of Chairman Don Nickless, Kathy Brown and Thor Konwin. They work to generate a Town Plan for the Town, which must be renewed at five-year intervals. The Planning Commission meets the fourth Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm. Read More
Recreation Committee
The Recreation Committee meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Town Offices. We invite residents to attend a meeting if you have any suggestions, questions, and/or concerns what so ever dealing with the Recreation Department. Read More
Select Board
Pittsford’s government consists of an elected Select Board of five dedicated public servants. Presently, the Board’s membership consists of Chairman Hank Pelkey, Assistant Chairman Allen Hitchcock, Joe Gagnon, Tom Hooker and Peg Flory.
