DESCRIPTION:This summer we have some exciting and welcome changes to our annual Town celebration.  This year instead of one\, long\, weather-dependent day\, we are spreading the joy with 3 evening concerts.  These live music bands will perform under the pavilion at the Recreation Area and promise to offer a couple of hours of wonderful entertainment each evening.  The food and activities of our traditional Pittsford Day will be spread out through the different concerts (face painting\, games & demonstrations\, etc…). There will always be at least one type of food for sale and of course bringing your own picnic dinner is fine too (remember\, we have grills).    All of these concerts are free of charge and open to the public. Bring your family and friends\, your bathing suit\, chairs and blankets and be prepared to have a relaxed and entertaining evening.

DESCRIPTION:In the recent Pittsford Newsletter the Recreation Department advertised our annual Winter Celebration at the Recreation Area for Saturday\, February 25 with a Lack of snow date of Saturday\, March 3. With the help of the Recreation Committee and looking at the extended forecast it was decided that the 2012 Winter Celebration will take place on Saturday\, March 3 at 1pm regardless if there’s snow on the ground or not. The Recreation Department plans to offer fun outdoor activities for families to take part in regardless the ground cover. If you or your group would still like to be part of the day please fee free to contact me.
