The meeting was called to order at 7:24 PM by Thomas “Hank” Pelkey, Chair.

Liquor Board members present:  Joseph Gagnon, Thomas “Hank” Pelkey, Thomas Hooker, and Linda Weeden.  Absent:  Allen Hitchcock

Also present:  Pierre Masuy, Shawn Erickson, Anita Paynter, Mike Reynolds, John Haverstock and Kelly Giard, Recording Secretary

NEW BUSINESS

The Liquor Board received one application for consideration.

Cassidy’s Hilltop Tavern submitted an application to the Town Clerk’s Office for outside consumption, although this practice will not be encouraged and will occur on the deck, if at all.  The Town Clerk indicated to J. Haverstock that this type of permit may be signed by the Town Clerk, with the notification and approval of the Liquor Board.

Motion by J. Gagnon and seconded by T. Hooker to authorize Helen McKinlay, Town Clerk to sign the permit.  Motion passed 3 – 1, with the Chair voting nay.

J. Gagnon made the motion to approve the Noel’s dba Proctor/Pittsford Country Club for a First Class Liquor License.  (The license that was approved on March 3 was valid through April 30, 2010.) Motion seconded by L. Weeden.  There was also an application discussed with regard to the operation of a “beer cart”, which can be authorized by the Town Clerk, with the proper notification to the Select Board.  Passed and signed unanimously 3 – 0.  T. Pelkey recused himself from the voting.
