TIME: 8:00 – 12:00 am
WHERE: VT Police Academy Gym

The Pittsford Pickleball Group will be running a free Pickleball Clinic Sunday, April 30 from 10 am -12 pm at the VT Police Academy Gym  for all interested in learning how to play Pickleball. Contact person is Wayne Winston, 725-8079.

FYI-The Pickleball Group will be playing OUTSIDE on Sunday mornings 9-11 am and Monday’s evenings 5-7 pm at the Pittsford Recreation Area Tennis Courts beginning in early May, weather permitting…

Pickleball is a fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping pong. Played both indoors and outdoors on a badminton size court and a slightly modified tennis net. It is played with a paddle and plastic ball. A small group from Pittsford began playing during the summer of 2014 on a tennis court in Rutland. They played last winter at the Lothrop gym. If you’re interested in learning more about Pickleball or if you are a seasoned player join in. Program contact person Wayne Winston, 725-8079.

The VT Police Academy DOES request that when folks are there they make sure not to block the emergency doors, fire extinguishers, etc. at the far end of the gym. There are signs on the specific doors! Thank you.
