Status of Funds
A status review of the following funds Burditt Fund, Pinney Fund, Pittsford Fund, Kelley Fund, Booth Fund and Cemetery Fund was conducted to bring new Trustee Tom Hooker current with the accounts. Tom Hooker discussed possibility of moving the Dennison Fund to the Trustees of Public Funds for future investment.
Curbing and Sidewalk
The Pittsford Select Board has received a grant to finance half the cost of a project to upgrade the curbing and sidewalk on the Lothrop side of Route 7 from just north of the school through a distance south of the school. At the December 6th Select Board meeting the Board has request the attendance of the Pittsford resident members of the OVUU Board to attend to discuss a request to have the Burditt Fund finance a portion of the project. Mr. Howland stated he agrees in the need for this project from a safety stand point. However, he feels the Burditt Fund should only fund school budget items. Mr. Hooker stated the safety of the school children is a priority and would feel terrible should any child be hit by a car due to not providing the sidewalks.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:30 PM.
